Today on their instagram feed, Gränsfors Bruk posted a picture of an axe with the text “COMING SOON 💥”
The axe profile is unlike any axe in their current lineup. I speculate that it is a type of offset, goosewing hewing axe that will be added to their existing line of Log-building and carpentry tools. This type of axe was used to square off rounded logs and would come in right and left handed models.
This is based on how in the picture it appears that the bit is even with the cheek of the axe as opposed to flaring upward like it would if the bit was centered relative to the haft.
